Upcoming Events /// Mega-travel Time!

August 27th, 2013

I’m just wrapping up packing for a series of late summer poster shows, there is a chance I might soon be in your city! I love meeting new people/designers/art fans, so if you’re able, please stop out and say “hello!” I’ll also have a handful of exciting new merch, ranging from gigposters to art prints to tshirts.

First up, we have Flatstock 41 at Bumbershoot in Seattle. Bumbershoot runs from August 31st to September 2nd and features dozens upon dozens of the raddest poster makers on the planet.

Secondly, I’ll be attending my first ever Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago on September 7th and 8th. If you’re not familiar, Renegade is one of the biggest, most outrageous craft marketplaces in the country. I’ll be joined by hundreds of other small, DIY crafts-people, all selling their beautiful, whimsical and humorous creations.

Lastly, I will be heading straight from Chicago over to Detroit to be part of the annual DIY Street Fair. My good friend Shawn Knight has organized a pop up shop called 18×24. Eleven other poster artists and myself will have our work set up September 13th thought September 15th.

Once I get home from of all of these shows, I’m going to drink a beer and then take a week-long nap.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The Word - Edgar Wright show at Gallery1988

August 20th, 2013

It seems crazy, but it’s been over a year since I participated in a Gallery 1988 group show. Luckily for me, I get to make my return for a show that I am ABSURDLY excited about! Opening tonight at 7pm PST is a tribute show for one of my favorite writers and directors, the amazing Edgar Wright, creator of such classics as Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World! Mr. Wright will be in attendance himself, as well as his frequent collaborators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost! Holy hell, I wish I could be at the opening tonite!

For my contribution, I HAD to create an illustration based on one of my all time favs, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. My sloppy street art inspired print captures the emotion of Scott and Ramona graffiting a wall to brag to everyone about how they feel…kind of an updated version of spraypainting SP ♥ RF on a wall.

If you live in California, make sure you stop out by Gallery 1988: West tonight for what is guaranteed to be the biggest party in town!

Please check back later for more details about how to get a copy of my print.

Doe Eyed Fall Apparel Collection

August 18th, 2013

I’m really, really excited to announce my new Fall collection of Doe Eyed shirts! I have three new designs up and on-sale in my shop, just in time for the beginning of my favorite season. The new shirts include the ghostly Dead King design, the dastardly Jewel Thief design (available in white and heather black), and the patriotic Free + Dumb design.

This whole collection is printed with ultra soft water-based inks on American Apparel 2001 or Tri-Blend shirts. These are definitely the raddest shirts that I’ve put out yet and are guaranteed to make you look 200% more badass!
