Year of No Light "Split" Album

Designed for Translation Loss Records, this double vinyl teams up one band from New Jersey, one band from Philly, and another from Bordeaux, France. Provided with photography by Andrew Weiss, the bands wanted a design rooted in nature. A stylized illustration of an eclipse echoed the lines in the strata of the weatherworn rocks, and the pre-distressed record sleeves also mimicked the work rock formations. And the smokey, colored viny records...they just look cool by themselves, regardless of any deep concept.
