SUMMER UPDATE - NEW POSTERS FOR WHY? AND THE FAINT

junes news

Wow, this summer has been absolutely crazy. I kind of forgot I even had a website for a while but I'm finally back with a bunch of new goodies.

I just posted three new posters to my shop, including gigposters for Why? and The Faint as well as a bicycle-themed art print. I also posted a bunch of new projects such as the art for East of the Wall's new album "Ressentiment", a promo piece for the amazing letterpress boutique Porridge paper, as well as some updated pictures of the (finally released) Rosetta vinyl.

There is a bunch of other shit going on as far as gallery shows and all that jazz. The Youngmonster clan was gracious enough to set me up with a show on August 6th in Chattanooga, TN, so you southern boys had better stop by there. I think I have some stuff in a show up in Minneapolis, too. I can't remember the name of that show...I should probably keep better track of all this.

NEW MOUNTAIN GOATS POSTER FOR SALE

junes news

I just posted a brand new poster for The Mountain Goats in my shop. This five color beauty was printed with an extra 10% goodness, just because I love the Goats so much. I don't have many of these available, so grab one fast before they go all dinosaur on yr ass.

Also, for any fellow designers/students/stalkers who want to know a bit more about me and/or my brain should pick up the May issue of IdN Magazine. I was lucky enough to be featured in the Nostalgia in Modern Times article along with Aesthetic Apparatus, Doublenaut, Tyler Stout and many other. It's a pretty fascinating article and my centerfold is worth the price of admission alone. Check out some teaser pics!

SPRING CLEANING SALE

spring sale

I finally got around to organizing my flat files and I realized that I'm quickly running out of space! I need to clear out some room for new prints, so I decided to have a bit of an impromptu spring cleaning sale, so I went ahead and marked down the prices on a bunch of stuff in my store. There are now a ton of prints that you can grab for only $10. Help me clear this shit out!

FUCK UP EXHIBIT WAS A SMASHING SUCCESS!

Many, many thanks to everyone who came out to the FUCK UP Test Print Exhibit the other weekend! I couldn't have been happier with how the show turned out. We sold a lot of work, printed a lot of shirts, and drank a lot of beer. Looks like it's time to start working on FUCK UP 2011. Don't forget to stop by the shop and check out the sixteen (!!!) color promo poster that we printed for the opening.

The FUCK UP reception hasn't been the only thing going on at the Doe Eyed offices. I just added a brand new Circa Survive poster as well a new art print called "The Strongest Man in the World". The strongman print was my contribution to the recent "Greatest Moments in Sports History" poster show at the 1988 Gallery in LA. Hop over to the Poster and Illustration sections to check out 'em out.

EVEN MORE POSTERS!

march news

Continuing with my busy spring, I just added two new posters to the shop. First up I have a poster for The Appleseed Cast's recent (and amazing) Low Level Owl tour. Secondly, I just completed a dark new art print that I'm simply calling "Thief." Head on over to the Posters and Illustration pages to check them out.

I'd also like to remind everyone that we're just about two weeks away from the FUCK UP Test Print show. The prints that everyone sent are truly amazing. Stop by the website for the specifics and mark your calendar.

NEW POSTERS

march news

February was an incredibly fun and busy week here at the ol' Doe Eyed HQ. I'll be unveiling the fruits of my late hours and numerous curse-words over the next week or so. I just threw up three new posters in my shop; the sexy and girlie Arts & Crafts Showcase, the dark and sultry Lincoln Exposed, and the one-punch of two Dam Funk posters.

Also, for those of you living within a stone's throw of the Midwest, my friend Michael Nielsen and I are curating a test print exhibit here in Lincoln, Nebraska on April 2nd. The show is called FUCK UP and features test prints from Delicious Design League, Doublenaut, The Silent Giants, Dan Stiles, Strawberryluna and many many more (including Michael and myself, obviously). Stop by the website for all the juicy details.

SNEAK PEAK AT AN UPCOMING PRINT!

BAD FRUIT

I'm not ready to unveil it quite yet, but here's a sneak peak at a print that I'll be unveiling sometime in the near future. Send me a guess of what you think it could be...the closest guess might even win a free copy! Also, I have a LOT of other junk in the trunk, so keep your eyes peeled for a lot of new work over the next few weeks!
